Secure Cover Netting vs. Woven Netting

Secure Covers are made from tough, interlocked knitted high density polyethylene (HDPE) which does not fray or ladder.

We tested many different types of materials and rejected any made from a simple woven material, this is because of problems with fraying and disintegration.

Simple woven material is very stiff and cannot follow the contours of the silage, has poor wind lift performance, fraying and disintegration, which can lead to aerobic spoilage – costing you money!

Secure Covers interlocked knitted HDPE:

  • Reduced wind lift
  • Non-Fray
  • Does not disintegrate
  • Flexible and easy to work with (labour saving)

Woven netting:

  • Poor wind lift
  • Fraying
  • Disintegration
  • Stiff and hard to work with
